Dr Rachel Evans provides private eating disorder recovery therapy, tailored to your unique recovery needs and goals. This approach will help you to unlock the past causes of your eating disorder, give you the tools and mindset shifts that you need to make changes right now in your present, and help you visualise future you - free from an eating disorder and feeling comfortable in your body.

Do you work with children?
No. I believe that family-based therapy is a beneficial approach for children. I work with over-18s who are ready to invest in themselves and commit to their recovery.
If you are looking for services on behalf of your child who is 18 or over, please email rachel@rachelevansphd.co.uk or ideally have them contact me directly.
Can I work with you if I don't live in the UK?
Yes of course, I have helped clients from all over the world. If you're ready to commit to full recovery and weekly sessions via video call then I would love to hear from you.
I don't have a diagnosed eating disorder. Can I still work with you?
I work with clients experiencing other difficulties around food, body-image and exercise on a case-by-case basis. Please email me at rachel@rachelevansphd.co.uk and tell me what's going on for you right now, then I will be able to advise if I can support you.
How can I work with you?
I offer a comprehensive 6 month recovery programme called Nourish, as well as 3 hour Breakthrough sessions and 1 hour 'Pick my Brains' sessions.
I DO NOT offer 'pay-per-hour' or 'drop-in-drop-out' style therapy.

I understand it can be scary to open up to someone about your eating disorder, trust me, I've been there. I was in denial about my issues with food for a long time. Then I realised that food was taking over my life and I was missing out on actually living.
Change can feel scary, but I believe FULL recovery is possible!
Since I recovered and trained as an eating disorder practitioner in 2018 I have helped hundreds of women to stop the restrict-binge cycle and feel comfortable in their body, through workshops, group programmes and working one-to-one.
